I am Head Coach of the Senior Women's Squad at Exeter Rowing Club. I am also a FISA and a British Rowing multi-lane endorsed umpire, currently based in the West of England ARA.

I started as a cox at Abingdon School in 1998 before moving to Grey College, Durham University in 2003 when I started coaching. After 4 years coaching the men and women and being Head Coach as well as Captain of Boats, I moved to Thames Rowing Club in 2007 where I coached the women's novice squad for a year before moving to Reading Rowing Club in 2008. I began coaching the women's squad for 3 years, spending time as Head Coach of the Women's Squad, then moved across to the senior men's squad, taking over as Head Coach for the 2013/2014 season. I returned as Head Coach of the Women's Squad for the 2015/2016 season before moving to Exeter and started coaching for Exeter University Boat Club. I then moved to Exeter Rowing Club and after a few months coaching the Improver Squad I took on the role as Head Coach of the Senior Women's Squad for the 2018/2019 season. I was also the entries secretary for Reading Amateur Regatta and the Head Umpire for Reading Small Boats Head, having previously been the organiser of the event, which takes place in October of each year. I also started up Reading Rowing Club's Row for Gold event, which aimed to provide a fun introduction to rowing to those who have never tried it before.
